The DNYS came together back in early 2023 to highlight and challenge issues within communities and young people. Through this initiative staff received training – Transforming Hate from the NYCI and delivered the program to Young People back in September 2023.

As part of this program and initiative we had young people from 6 other youth services come together in the Reco back in October 2023 to celebrate diversity through tons of different activities including; Capoeira, Metric Games, Spray Painting workshop, Diversity Quiz, Shamanic Drumming and enjoyed different foods from different cultures from the Chef in the Reco.

We finished the day with the Colour Dash were young people took part in a short 1.5km run!
